This post struck me kinda funny. My son is home from college. His whole time growing up he never was interested in fishing. Put him in the boat, show him clear water, he could care less. Truth is the only thing in life I have been exceptional in is fishing. Bothered me some he didn't care for it being he is my only child. All of a sudden everything I showed him as a kid sparked something and all he wants me to do is show him how to fish and run a boat.
Last week my son and i bought a 24 Albemarle. Buying a boat in the middle of a depression is tough business, but if he remembers me like you do your dad then it's worth it's weight in gold.

 

Great outcome with your son. Cherish the moments. Well built boat the Albemarles. Volvo gas I presume. Lot of them came with the Volvo KD series diesels. Please tell me you didn't buy one of those. .

 

I took a gamble on a Big AZ chicken sandwich, tasted like nothing and the cheese looked like alien mold. Somehow i survived that dreadful day but my pride was destroyed.

Gets hard to find this time of year. Probably last years crop. Maybe they decided to use the ones from storage they hold for the summer fairs. New crop ones should be out in September.
