I know it's an antiquated idea, but did you think about calling the customer for local directions, like they did in olden times? If you coordinate with the customers directly, and use the truckers atlas, and GPS it creates redundancies that could save you from getting into a hairy situation.

My routine for every pickup and delivery . Is find city location for pickup and delivery . And map it out with atlas. Then put it into google maps and compare. Google will always give u the shortest miles . But sometimes that is not the best. Interstate will always be faster. Next thing i do is put address in and use sattelite view , we want the straightest most direct route from interstate to shipper/reciever. Preferebly a state highway or us highway , because those will be listed in front of atlas under low clearence and restricted. If it is just a street name then u want to go into street view on google and follow route from interstate to customers site and look for no truck signs or low bridges. Also it helps to look at customers property and find where the driveway to turn in is at and some places will have signs on the road saying no trucks this entrance or something similar. U can get a good picture in ur mind about what to look for before u get there . Repeat for delivery and ur good to go. Hope all goes well for u

So from the index of low bridges in the front, how do I find that bridge on the map?

    I 35 to either the Woodall Rogers or I 30 east or I 20 east to I 45. I 45 to I 610 east to Tx 225 east to Pasadena.

it tells u where it is under the location section. But it will only tell u for us highway , state highway and interstates. Most likely the bridge is on a side street , and the atlas wont list those. That is why google maps street view will help u..

I can't think of any low bridges between Ardmore and Pasadena. Hell Pasadena is like container central.

OP where is your drop off? With that I can tell you 100% it there's a low bridge.

    TravR1 and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

I35 to I45 (whatever the interchanges in Dallas are) and then like you said, 610 around to 225. Wait till this newb hits the bridge at Port of Houston just before 225 lol.

Newb, stay to the far right lane.

Oh and F whatever dispatcher told you not to use a personal GPS. Unless they think you're retarded.
