I mean, the way these gasoline generators are made, they are not meant to be traveling on catwalks as auxiliary units, are they? There is no law needed but if you kill yourself or worse, someone parked next to you, it is your conscience and liability.

Every truck with a sleeper should have a carbon monoxide detector in it by law from the factory. Also it need to be a RV detector because they work in temps -40 to +158 a household won't operate in these temps. I put one in all my trucks. If you want to wake up in the morning you to should have one. You never know if someone park's next to you with a gas generator during the night and put you to sleep for good.

So basically, you got your own idea of a self invented APU exhausting gas fumes and expect everybody else to protect themselves from it. If they die then it is not your problem. ####, I am scared to death now.

How about me being a pyromaniac and start playing with matches...or better hand grenades in my cab while I am parked next to you?
No ####! I'd better find myself a CO detector.

They're portable generators. Strapped to a catwalk, in the bed of a pickup, in the storage area of an RV, etc.

If YOU don't like them, then fine. Don't use one. But you thinking other people shouldn't be able to use them because you don't like them is mighty liberal of you.

You should probably stop running a truck. It's dangerous and scary. Stay tucked away in your home away from all the scary things.

As long as they don't kill me with the exhaust, you can have it.
