J.I. Case was building backhoes in 1957. All loaders, backhoes, have had the front loader controls on the right side. But as mentioned earlier, a “skid steer” can have 2 different controls that I know of. 1 with front bucket controls under your feet, or the front bucket controls in your right hand. Unless there’s something new I ain’t seen yet....:) and that’s possible lol.

An excavator on the other hand usually has a converter valve that will switch the boom and dipper controls ( bucket & swing controls stay the same ). I personally use a excavator with the boom in my right hand and the dipper in my left.

But as far as loaders go, even a dozer has the blade controls on the right side. Hope that mumbo jumbo makes sense lol....

Old man had a MF 35 with a loader. ...now it had them on the left, but wasn't factory...homemade...he was a lefty. Had hydro lines laying across the hood.

I happened on one of those medieval festivals once. There were those duels with dulled weapons. They were landing some tremendous hits. But that jousting... all of that force concentrated into such a small area... this side of getting headbutted by a big rodeo bull, or a car accident, I haven’t seen a harder shot.
