Now that I have been back in Florida the last 5 months I really appreciate it.

But I am a Hardcore boater, sailor, windsurfer ,diver, spear fisherman, fisherman .

3 years back in Michigan that l left in 1983 was enough to remind me why I hated living up north .

Stupid state and property taxes, high insurance and pitiful roads .

Did I mention the Suckazz weather.

I'm one step from living on a self sufficient sailboat in the Keys, just don't want to take the plunge until I figure out what I want to do for a living.

Got a pile of tools and can fix or build anything.

Tough to beat Florida for Cheap living.

Maybe take tourists fishing and teach them about your self sustaining boat? People eat that #### up.

Yea gotta figure out what I am going to do with my semi,my 2 powerboats, my Nissan Pathfinder and my motorcycle that are all sitting up north right now.

If I lose my free secure encloesed storage I am screwed.

I like the Way your thinking though.

I used to be in the parasail business for many years, so used to dealing with tourists. I guess I just need to get my Old Happy Personality back out of the closet.

So my fuel cost with DEF from Socal to Pensacola was $387. This includes 195 mile DH to this place i just got loaded, about 5/8 tank left.

Net after fuel and blah was $1725.

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

    Tally ho!!!!!

    Forgot LS $50 virus bonus.

    $1775.

There's a guy in town next to where we park with 8-10 trucks and 15+ wagons all new equipment. So far they're still afloat. They operate the same way we do. Out n back home every night. Oilfield $$$ is what started that business. Same with another guy in town went out and bought 7-8 trucks and flats and steps

I started 1 am on Monday....to get back home tomorrow night en route, and finish next Monday. with most of the weekend at home. After fuel, I will be left with another $3200.
In order not to stir up commotion, and unnecessary lecturing, I will not disclose what work was needed to arrive at that figure.

Proceeds after fuel are as follows:
    The current week: $ 3200
The prior week was short : $ 1200
    The $1.16 per mile week: $ 3100
Next week: (will be short) $ 1200 (?)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I asked my truck and trailer..."Are you guys all right with all the mileage we've had to put up lately?"
They said unanimously "Yes daddy, yes...we're still good daddy, we are happy to work for you."

Wish I had a reefer this week and next....
