Just got a video via Whatsapp from a friend in São Paulo, Brasil. It's all in Portuguese and it's not Youtube so can't upload here.
A total paralyzation of trucks in Brasil due to the situation in that country. The politicians there are not doing anything with regard to the virus spread, or the health situation, nothing at all.... they do absolutely NOTHING for their people... they are caught in endless disagreements, discussions, fights over money and control since elections will be at the end of this year... and that sort of thing and in the meantime the population is dyeing under lock down, can't go out, can't work, business remain closed... That is an absolute catastrophic situation for that country and the truckers in Brasil as usual, are the ones that get involved to force an attitude from the government to get out of this inertia that is going on. They want the end of the quarantine cause that's not helping anything at all... people are dying at home either from corona and/ or from starvation....
So, next Thursday, Brazilian truckers will stop... They are advising the public to stock up on food and whatever they need because truckers will stop. They have threatened before since this pandemia started but for some reasons they didn't follow thru...
But they have always gathered together when doing these kinds of "strikes" if we can call it that... they really unite and follow thru when they get fed up .
More power to the Brazilian truckers that already suffer SOOOO MUCH in that MF country....
