Is there anything like the jacobi dash KWswan posted about for fld's.?
One of the PO's of ole Buck was pretty rough with the tractor trailer red yellow dash valves, & the framework/skeleton has cracked in a few other spots behind the dash panels.
As of now I zip tied & epoxy'd some thin metal rods (universal battery tiedowns) to parts cracking to try & add some strength. It's pretty ghetto, but out of sight & held up for about 18months by now..![]()

There’s several different lines, but this number has worked well for my Frankenstein projects
If it’s setup like I’m thinking, you can get by using these or the lighter style spring clips with an oversized round hole. Yeah I’ve broken my share of parts made out of unobtainium.peterbilt_2005, clausland, rda2580 and 10 others Thank this. -

Yes, FL has the 2 frames available. Dont recall price. And someone has them aftermarket pretty cheap. But I have not bought one. However it is on my to do list. 3m panel bond adhesive is what you wanna use to repair one.650cat425, PoleCrusher, Swine hauler and 4 others Thank this. -
Looks like they went out as gentleman should. Find buyers and minimize the harm. Not just disappear with the cash.650cat425, PoleCrusher, Swine hauler and 5 others Thank this. -
Sounds like Uber is potentially closing Uber freight and there self driving truck divisions. Claiming they are “cash suckers” and not part of there core business.
Who could of guessed?
Come in and disrupt the market then just leave.
Sounds “situation normal” to me?peterbilt_2005, Lostkeys, 2CAN and 12 others Thank this. -

I am by no means a body guy. Just know enough to get in trouble. Normally would use that for a repair then skimmed it with filler. However was just learning to paint I fixed a simple whole in a fender and didnt skim coat it. It wasnt big. Only used primer, no primer sealer. One of my first big paints by myself. Looked great. About 4 days later in that repair spot it must have had a reaction to base coat. Was a bright metallic blue, and started to turn green. Bright green metallic spots all around the repair. Had to strip and shoot the fender again. Man I was proud of myself till that hiccup.Tug Toy, 650cat425, PoleCrusher and 3 others Thank this.
