I've been searching the forums on here about this company and have heard tons of great things! I think I'm going to accept the offer. Going to call a recruiter tomorrow and ask some questions but thought I would ask here too. Some questions I have that I have no been able to find answers for on here:
1. I currently have a Class A CDL (went to school in 2001, so I know I need the school), so would I still have to retake the driving test at my local DMV? or would the CDL I have now be considered a waiver for the test?
2. If you go through the Millis school, are you guaranteed a job provided you pass everything?
3. How many miles do you average a week through this company? (I've heard various things and some of the posts were 2 years ago, so I know things change)
That's about all I can think of now. Thank you all for all the information you provide on here!
got an offer from millis...

Poviding you kept it current and your Med Card and never let it lapse, there will be no need to retest or do anything.
Other questions are all Millis. It does seem as I have read posts on here about Millis, they have different contracts in place or they have changed over the months, as I see different requirments and contact terms. I'm sure a current Millis Employee will chime in and give the updated version. -
I'd sure find out before you put any money down. In fact you'd be better off to get it in writing. Recruiters do not work for you nor do the schools.

actually, I spoke with Mike Millis today on the phone just to verify everything. He said that as long as I kept my CDL current, there would be no need to retest (as you said.. thank you!) I didn't keep my med card physical, so i need to retake the physical before I go. My class is starting October 19th provided I send the money in time. I need to call them back tomorrow and find out exactly how much i need to send though. I have read on here it is $100 up front and the other $400 the day you get there, but on their webpage it says $500, so I need to verify that. Thanks for the response guys! If anyone else wants to chime in with any helpful hints, it would be greatly appreciated!
