I’m glad I chose Tankers as well! I’ve been with Superior for about nine months now and am pretty happy with them. Hardly any BS, get paid for everything I do, steady work, and on track to make a little over 70K (.56c a loaded mile starting your first solo run) my first year as a company driver. I’ve never hauled dry van, but to me it looks like a rat race compared to chemicals. Everything is scheduled on appointments, plenty of time to get there, just not very stressful. I can easily do this until retirement. Good company.

Yep as all have said wish I’d started with tankers~seems like everyone wants the product no waiting around like in the van world or should I say not as much, don’t get me wrong some days can be a mother f’er but they’re few and far between.

If think there is no waiting around in the tanker world, you have never been to Magellan in Odessa TX, Alon in Big Spring TX, or the Holly Frontier refinery in Artisia NM.

Been to a few refineries where I know I'm going to be waiting. Holly Frontier in Tulsa or any Exxon-Mobil refineries come to mind. I also know I'm going to be well paid for that waiting.

Yeah, 10-32 hour waits at WSP in Shreveport. 4-7 at anything DOW related. Ect.

We have our 'food warehouses' in the ranking world as well lol.
