    1955 here - you young'un...
My youngest daughter, Lorelei, is planning to go into the Air Force.

And don't be sorry for Leann. She is safe and with good people.
Heck, she may end up marrying Ian in the end, who knows.
I spoke with him once, and I actually like him.
Get that... A dad liking the live-in boyfriend from an internet encounter with his daughter.

And I think this whole virus thing played well for her.
They hit it off very well, and are doing well. And I really don't think she actually wants to come back.
She will have to at some point because her visa is expired.
And I really hope that he will come over here at some point, because I would like to meet him face to face.

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.

Much respect, man. . . I so wouldn't have known. I sure wish the best for your daughter!!! Now I get why you 'won't' train. . . the details..explained away. Kudos, man. Always.

Known 'of' you ... just ... that was it. I'm just me. Thanks, brother of the highway. Stay safe.

@G13Tomcat You and I are the same age, but I’ve always looked 10 years younger than I am. My callsign was Howdie Doody. Plus, I’ve been using Just For Men on my grey beard, and that dropped another 10 years. Add the 3-5 days a week workout for the past several months, 2” off the waistline, and a fresh, hip high-n-tight haircut.

I could pass for a San Francisco lumbersexual. :p

Just kidding, but I did do the beard because I didn’t want anyone at Melton to prejudge me as a weak old man. I can show that on my own merits. :D

Yes, CDL. Got all the endorsements and even a TWIC card. I feel like, at a minimum, I need to get in a truck and earn enough to put that $5000 back in my savings account so I don’t beat myself up forever.

    Re-evaluating.

I wish. I saw the writing on the wall and got out when Clinton was slashing the military. Chesty Puller would have gotten passed over.

Eight years in the USMC. Came out alive and intact, so it’s all good.

Here's one to check out, @MericanMade .... Dutch Maid Logistics | Now Hiring Drivers .... it's about 1/2 hour from my house in Amish country. I've sent 2 guys there. Orientation is about 2 days in Willard, Ohio. . . then out w/ a trainer. One guy I sent quit, the other just went solo. @Luccc . ;)

I did check into them, I believe. Out of hiring area. Been so many now. :confused:o_O

I called a rich, big wig realtor whose kitchen I remodeled a couple years ago, and she was like, holy crap, heck yes we need a handyman badly! Ours are either smucks or are in jail for stupid stuff. So much work needs to be done. How soon can you start?

Okay. Two viable paths. There are worse places in life to be.

    I appreciate you.

The guy that quit Dutch Maid, Marc . . . went back to handyman work himself, out in Wisconsin. Best of luck to you, sir. (Did you try J&R Schugel ?!? ;) )
