So far, no leads on the Volvo. The big heads at Volvo say there isn’t a problem. Putting it back together and sample again at 10k mikes and see if there is any change. Something isn’t right and I don’t have the money to keep chasing things down on this turd.

The last load in the sheet is only 18 miles DH, that brings rpm up to 1.94 all miles. Had the wrong city pulled up.

This quarter is shaping up nice regarding fuel consumption. This month is 9.33 mpg on 11,448 miles. With about 6k of those miles run East of 77 and along and north of 76.

If you don't mind me asking, what is your maintenance cost per mile for the lifetime of your LT?

I paid for the in tank DEF Sensor, that was about 490.00. And I paid for the EGR valve actuator failure, that was almost 2200. So, about 2700 total in unplanned maintenance. When I get home, that will be the 6th oil change, or about 2k. I paid for a window switch assembly that I broke, about 260.00. All in, that’s only about .03cpm. Tire cost is .0275 cpm, I’m replacing some when I get home. Hankook has a new model I’m trying out, the DL12 super single. So, about .07 cpm.

Thanks. I test drove a LT a couple weeks ago. Thinking about buying a new truck. My 06 is running about $0.35/mile on maintenance.

Ive been very happy with the LT A26 combo. If you can wait for a 2021 compliant truck and order in January, that would be better. 2021 and 2027 are the next two steps in the GHG phase 2 regulations. There is going to be lots of new stuff available in January. International is supposed to release details on their fully integrated Powertrain by then, playing catch-up with Freightliner, Paccar, and Volvo. Freightliner will have the new Gen5 DD series engines available with lots of enhancements. Volvo and Cummins say their products are 2021 compliant for order right now. I’m not a Cummins or Paccar fan though.

Oh brother. I thought we were done with this emission nonsense. What changes are coming in 2021? I bought a 2013 w/ an isx a couple of years ago. Sold it this January. That was my learning curve with an emissions truck. Cost me $30k in repairs over 1.5 yrs.
I used to be die hard IH until they discontinued the 9400/9900. Only reason Im looking at LT is Ive found some new 2019s cheap. The one I test drove showed over 10 mpg on 800 miles bobtailing.
IH fully integrated powertrain? Are they coming out with their own transmission?
