Minnesota DPS posted this. Why the hell did they arrest him? Someone is gonna be rewarded handsomely for his arrest.

I haven't heard much after that.
I did hear that he told that some in the crowd were trying to protect him, as others were trying to beat him.

Also that he was driving around 70mph when he encountered the people, and it was reckless.
That was a comment from the transportation guy this afternoon.

If I'm not mistaken that part of I-35W has a 55 limit because of all the tight turns.
I drove through there this afternoon, and I sure would not be trying to go 65-70 on that stretch of road.

It turns out that guy was dropping a load of fuel at a gas station just off 35 then proceeded to get back on 35. No barriers on the ramp. 35 was still open when he went to deliver

Someone really screwed up when they closed the interstate but left on ramps open.
    Very poor planning.

They still say he was going up to 70mph though, which will still get him in trouble.
Playing Speed Racer on that section is very dangerous even without people or cars on the roadway.

I vaguely remember that section. Not in a loaded tanker, and nothing top heavy.

So, started in Phoenix with a load of alluminum to Calexico, then went over to Southgate CA for sone shingles. Might have ran out of time at slow customer, but i wasnt gonna spend the night that close to LA proper on the bloody street or in a parking lot. Got the blessing from office.

So im in JV. Headed to Wichita falls TX.

And for once I dont have 40,000 sitting all on the trailer. Omg the customer bloody listened :,-)

Curfew was in effect already, i saw military tanker trucks in southgate, and a co worker saw Mraps and Apcs headed through the Empire.

I flew down CA60 and never slowed down. Traffic was almost nothing at 1730.

CHP progressivly shutting down exits, city cops shutting down shopping plazas and such.

Not only do we have to consider how we schedule our loads, now we have to consider if the roads might be closed on our route due to the riot crazies.
Or even the peaceful protesters that decide to 'peacefully' shut down a major interstate.

A few places like MN have made the smart move and called the the National Guard to help.
Things have been pretty quiet there since the first day they did it.

Then there are places like New York City with 'the finest' that refuse to do it, and see where they are.
Perhaps their pride is showing just a bit much.
What was it Han told Luke once?
    Right... "Don't get ####y, kid."
