Hows everyone’s week starting off? I grabbed a barrel and did a dirt job. Contaminated soil out of the power plant to the landfill. Not a bad gig, pays hourly and the loader stops at 2 pm so it was an early day. Doing the same thing tomorrow. I’ll take it while I can.

I left out this morning around 4 and headed off to Pensacola, shagged on up above Montgomery and loaded, and here I sit just a little north of Troy for the evening. Business as usual for me, I could run this route with my eyes closed, depending on what time I get up tomorrow that just might be what I do

D.Tibbitt, NightWind, tndriver and 2 others Thank this.

I started hauling dirt a little while ago with a belly dump trailer. Wanted something local. It’s been almost a year and ended up selling my w900 and purchased a daycab. In the San Antonio area work gets crazy. I’m still new to the type of work and hoping it gets better. Trying to access higher paying jobs is difficult, especially with coronavirus and such going on. Did some asphalt and mostly base for roads and builds. Some haul off. I thought about trying end dump but in my area they do the same work as belly dumps or they don’t get any extra money considering the added utility and cost increase of the trailer compared to belly. It seems low paying but I haven’t worked a summer yet when it’s supposed peak.

Well howdy folks! Welcome to the new peeps!
Jimy and I are home in the middle of the day because I have the truck and trailer in the shop, new brakes fixing an air leak that's been driving me nuts! Cut the grass, trimmed some trees with my mini chain saw made by Stihl, I just love that little machine.
Jimy is doing great,!Gave him a bath that went well. I can't express how grateful I am to have him. He keeps me busy and is great company since he doesn't talk back, yet.....
I've been pretty busy, nothing to complain about. I've enjoyed the lack of traffic due to the beer virus, but alas it's back, not quite to the capacity that it was prior to the beer virus but close.
I'm trying to decide if I am going to venture out of state some or stay in my usual travel lanes. Lord knows I can run 700 miles a day and never leave the state. I'm also thinking of buying another trailer, just have not decided if it'll be a dump or cow trailer. I also want to build a shop to park in. So many goals whew.
I've been keeping an eye out for @Trashtrucker1707 but so far he's been sliding through without me seeing or hearing him.
Everyone stay safe and I'll try to get on here more.
    Happy Trails to all.
