Well, you got me there... but I would argue that in garrison, the Marine Corps is the biggest cluster******* EVER. We are great in the field, worthless in the office. At least you guys get paid correctly and I would guess on time.

I'm in Wisconsin now at the J on 94 just outside Milwaukee. The traffic was terrible, I'm going to have to wait it out and try to sleep a few hours.

Raphael I got hung up at that shipper for a while then frazzled by the stop and go traffic. I'm gonna grab a bite then hit you back in a bit for at least a few minutes. Need me some more of those tips :biggrin_255:

    No prollem brudda!

The sick part about it is, I've actually started putting together a list of "must haves" and "must do's" for you. All based on my limited experience mind you, but hopefully it'll help out in the "prevention" department.

Hell, thats a GOOD thing! I know a driver who drove for 44 years (he was an instructor at TMC when I started ornamentation a few years ago). Told me he learned something new his entire time driving up until the day he retired. Then he started learning new things from new CDL holders when he started training at TMC.

    :biggrin_2559:

I remember thinking when he told me and the other newbies in the truck about his time on the road: "####, this guy started driving trucks before I was BORN!!!!"

hey i think its great rob want to learn more!!!!! i think he did great jumping into this but not understanding the maintaince part,i think he found it to easy to pic up the phone and call someone to fix something he should have figured out himself but in the same token in robs defence if you dont know what your looking at ,and not understanding what you looking at how do you exsplain it to someone on the phone, and what has happened those phone calls have eaten up his proffit and hes back to squar one,but with a better understanding,i truly believe,i can hear it in his voice,he now knows why everyone trys do do as much as they can themselves or thru advice on this site from those who have gone thru the same thing,,, but at least now robs not saying hey this is just a truck what could possibly go wrong!!!!! i believe all his questions as far as that statement is concerned have fully been anserd and hes willing to learn more to save those 2-500 dollar phone calls, but i do believe his sunroof skills are begining to come out in him when he gets home roflmao had to throw that one in there rob,

I agree, that part of Wisconsin is amazingly beautiful (good job glaciers!!!), but it is murder to drive a truck through. I used to have to drive from Eau Claire, Wi to La Crosse, Wi all of the time and had to go right through that same area. If you have a gutless wonder, it can be an agonizing drive.

Dang it!! I was all settled in and now I gotta make a beer run. All hail the Spotted Cow! :biggrin_2553: (drooling... crying... drooling)
