Rioting has always been the way to get stuff done in this country. The NFL player had a peaceful protest and what happened? Blackballed from the league...
Have they gone too far? Probably, but it is what it is. If it's going to get stuff done, so be it. I'm on my way to Minneapolis as I type. I'm certain I'll be fine.Matt1924 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
Be careful up there. My wifes grandparents still live in the city and its been a rough few days for them.

I have to respectfully disagree with that first statement. I don’t think rioting has always been a way to get stuff done. Look at Martin Luther King. He walked all over this country and no riots but got de-segregation completed. Rosa Parks protested on the bus no riots and we got results from that. Truck drivers have been protesting about pay for the longest and we get increases every so years or whatever but you don’t see us running cars off the road or refusing to work. Change is not going to happen overnight. Takes time.
Peaceful protest is what it’s all about. Getting up and out to go vote is how you make change. Rioting will not solve anything. If rioters and looters came to your neighborhood and destroyed everything you would not say well they did it to get the job done. And when I say neighborhoods I’m talking about your houses. That’s what’s coming next. Everybody is ok with it until it happens to them or one of their family members right. But how do you say then so be it right. You and your family will just have to live on the streets because of what they did but it is what it is right?
Stay safe up there and hopefully you can see with your own eyes that your first statement is the type of mindset we need get away from. We can not accept riots and looters. Peaceful protest let’s go all day. 1st amendment right is starting to be taken away from Americans now because the Military is about to be involved. As a retired service member you job is to fight for the freedom and the constitutional rights for America. Rioters and looters take that away from you and me because now the police do t know who’s peaceful and whos not among the crowds. Just my two cents though. Sorry guys.dwells40, Matt1924 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -

Gentlemen,
This has been an excellent thread so far. Everyone has been helpful, respectful, and informative. Let's keep it that way.
You have both stated your opinions about the matter. If you want to discuss it further, please take it to one of the other threads about that subject so the bickering and arguing won't show up in this thread. I'm asking, not just as a moderator but as someone who has enjoyed this thread and it's civility.LtlAnonymous, Opus, dwells40 and 5 others Thank this. -
Not a problem. I’m enjoying it as well. It’s just the support of that type of negativity I will not tolerate. He said he didn’t read anything past disrespect so I know where it’s left at and we can continue on with this thread. Please by all means you have my permission to delete my reply from this thread. A lot of information is about to get put out for this thread that may help people learn more about AAA Cooper. So back to our paid programming.LtlAnonymous, 88 Alpha, dwells40 and 2 others Thank this.

eeehhh...i doubt it. there are too many homeowners looking for a reason to shoot, they won’t bring it to the house. if they do, it’ll be in places where gun ownership is low.dwells40 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.
