It is Friday, so maybe. Oh, wait, I forgot where we work! :)

I’d just like to get back to it. My mother got out of the hospital Monday, and went right back in yesterday for the same issues. I tried to tell them she wasn’t ready to be discharged. I even filed an appeal with Medicare, but lost. So, back in we have gone. I guess it’s time for the not so nice daughter to come out and play.

They tell you it’s 0600 to make sure you are there on time appointment is actually 0700.

I think I would prefer that to the other way around. 8am appointment and your phone blows up at 6am asking where the hell you are. It was a Florida Publix refit and that onsite rep (Richie?) sure had a knack for putting people in a bad mood.

Good old Brooklyn Richie. The first “discussion” he and I had, we got on the same page. He knew right then that some one born and raised in the Bronx doesn’t like people from Brooklyn.

So... fleet wide message... asking about input on weekly pay vs bi weekly pay... why you ask??? Because of their ongoing concerns about “improving quality of life for the drivers” ... LOL

... betting K/S is weekly and they are being brought in line with the rest of our Corporate Cousins.

Common sense sure didn't prevail when they built this warehouse Im picking up at near Baton Rouge LA. LA hwy 1 is a nice 4 lane hwy and you would think the truck entrance would be off of it but I get there and a sign saying truck gate is on the opposite side of the warehouse on this tiny two lane road you #### near gotta drive down the middle of it in a big truck. Thankfully this is where my oil and gas industry driving skills came in handy on tiny roads not meant for trucks.

Finishing up my 10 in RVA... go to get refreshed and cleaned up for the day... shop bathroom has no toilet paper and no soap... walk up to the lounge and it has toilet paper and towels but no hand soap... (A bottle of conditioner but no soap)... head down the hallway... finally, toilet paper, soap, and a very very small roll of paper towels...

hey Abilene... wanna improve the drivers quality of life? I might have a suggestion.... I’d tell the guy at the window but you know, it’s closed.

TB John and Lonesome Thank this.
