I don't know, we had to get towed 3 days out in a brand new ProStar. Now my ICON doesn't work, and we're back in the shop. someone else had a similar problem, and there's a post somewhere about one of those brand new Internationals having the turbo blow up at 26,000 miles. I held my breath for several thousand miles around there.

I think that Central's trucks have problems simply by being Central trucks. I'm guessing they get into the Salt Lake yard and let the gremlins crawl inside.

Heard the same bout the prostars i would be a little concerned with one. I hear alot about turbo issues. Dont know first had just repeat what has been told to me.

On a better note the ride is supposed to be second to none:yes2557:

People talk about the overpriced Paccar's, But I know which one I would be buying as an O/O and it wouldn't be a cornbinder or a Freightshaker

The overpriced Paccar's hold there value better!! IMO:biggrin_25522:

I love the Prostar and had the opportunity to sit and stand in one couple days ago. The Century and Columbia aint that bad either. Very nice trucks if you ask me. I have yet to sit and stand in a 387 or a 379/389 with the ultra sleeper.

Check the price of a second hand corn binder and Freightliner and then check the price of a second hand Pete or W-9 with the same miles!!

    I rest my case!!:biggrin_25514:

I love my prostar, the ride is very, very nice. I love there's more room than my old volvo, and while there's not as many cabinets (we're missing the ones up front badly), it's still a great truck.
