I mean. It is a crap job Hard work. Very physical. Long hours. 60+ hrs a week plus you have to commute But that's why its pays 100k a year.

With all due respect, still not a good deal----there are many linehaul drivers who make well above 100K and they don't touch jack.

I'm was gaining weight as a flatbed driver. Switched to food service. Watched what I ate and lost a bunch. Summer came and so did the over eating. Put some back on.

My updated requirements for food service:

    1) Minimum $2000 gross per week.
    2) 4 day workweek with at least Saturday and Sunday off. Friday too would be ideal.
    3) Only daytime hours
    4) Decent diligent Helpers. And i've had a few.
    5) Electric pallet jack
    6) KW W-990 with Allison automatic (not eaton fuller "automated" bullplop; REAL automatic trans with torque converter) daycab with wheelbase no longer than 200". Or kw w-900B (short hood). Or KW t-470 is ok.
    Peterbilt 389, 567,367,365,348,337, all ok.
    Freightliner 122SD daycab
The above trucks are the only ones acceptable.

    DAX_ and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

Pallet jacks and a helper? That hardly even qualifies as labor, let alone hard labor.

mpd240, FlaSwampRat and Cardfan89 Thank this.
