I was thinking more like this...with apologies to the Beasties.

    Tarp Monkey, that smelly Monkey
    Tarp Monkey junkie
    That smelly Monkey
Tarp Monkey, got this dance that's more than real
Fall off the deck here's how you feel
Put your left leg down your right leg up
Tilt your head back watch the Tarp blow up...

Get an APU they said...it’ll be fun they said...

My APU once again gets arcticly cold. I’m going to sleep like I surfed all day. Ya!

Does this mean you had a problem with your APU?

Otter can you tell me this fan on picture pulls air out or pushes in? Trying to use APU radiator and fan for another project.

Several problems. Awhile ago I had the slightest diesel leak on the APU. Just the occasional drip. Well it was dripping on one of the a/c lines and destroyed it. Had that fixed at Empire Cat. They had a new line built for it and fixed the diesel leak.

I did the PM on it and replaced the coolant float sensor. Kept telling me it was low on coolant. I replaced the upper radiator hose 6+ months ago. The alternator belt was about due at the time so I replaced it and changed the oil, filter and fuel filter.

The most recent problem was part of the a/c harness failed. They had the a/c belt In stock as well so I had them replace that. The guys at Texas Truck A/C figured that out today.

I’m coming up on a year in my truck and I think I’ve spent about $1200 on keeping it going. A lot of the things are just basic wear and I enjoy getting it fixed because I know that’s one less thing to think about for awhile.
