If you can survive now you’ll thrive when the rates come up later
cbake7 Thanks this. -
Although shipping is down right now, looking at the long term, people still are going to need stuff. Lots of stuff. If you talking about getting your cdl and getting a driving job, then I think you will be ok. If you are thinking about buying a truck and going O/O now probably would not be the best time. And whatever you do, NEVER do a lease purchase. Never.
Truckermania, Rideandrepair, dwells40 and 6 others Thank this. -

Thank you- this helps me a lot- not sure if I want to search for much longer for a job in my current field (auto insurance claims), as we are being laid off left and right in the corporate world. Considering this as my next move.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
that is not ran by any trucking companies

Auto insurance claims should start to sky rocket in the next month or 2 as people get back to work and forget how to drive in traffic again.
cbake7, Rideandrepair and dwells40 Thank this. -
I started March 17, right as this whole thing started getting crazy! I'm still glad I did it! I was a corporate cook a LinkedIn didn't want to do it anymore! Quit payed for private school cdl! Now everyone I worked with is getting laid off end of the month!
cbake7 and Rideandrepair Thank this.
