D.Tibbitt, Lite bug, Midwest Trucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
That's what i thought?
-
i know what a counter weight is and i know what a boom is and i know what two of something is but i dont know what a #3 is
-
Been trying to figure that out myself. Normally CWT is shorthand for hundredweight.
-
Most of time its a 3 ton weight
Midwest Trucker and cgilliland Thank this. -
I run and build cranes and I’ve lever heard of that. Lol.
A 6k pound counterweight is pretty light..D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Might be for an offroad crane or one of those small carrydeck cranes? Or maybe a Counterweight for an excavator or something.
-
I’m thinking it’s a crawler crane if some sort of they are carrying boom as well. On my small 110’s my lightest weight is about 15k
Only thing I’ve seen something that small of a weight on is a hybrid “boom truck” and it carries its own weights.
Excavators don’t have boom that comes out normally... -
Call the broker and ask.
