    i know what a counter weight is and i know what a boom is and i know what two of something is but i dont know what a #3 is

    Been trying to figure that out myself. Normally CWT is shorthand for hundredweight.

    I run and build cranes and I’ve lever heard of that. Lol.

    A 6k pound counterweight is pretty light..

    Might be for an offroad crane or one of those small carrydeck cranes? Or maybe a Counterweight for an excavator or something.

    I’m thinking it’s a crawler crane if some sort of they are carrying boom as well. On my small 110’s my lightest weight is about 15k

    Only thing I’ve seen something that small of a weight on is a hybrid “boom truck” and it carries its own weights.

    Excavators don’t have boom that comes out normally...
