What if it Snows?

My buddy up in Michigan installed one of those high efficiency wood heating fireplaces when we remodeled his living room.

I thought it was overpriced until we heated the house with it all winter. 1600 soft and It would cook you out of it and only 2 small logs would last 6 - 7 hours.

Anyways his wife got on Craigslist saying they would take all cuttings from tree trimmers if it was good hardwood.

Needles to say he is stocked for 3 years in just one summer.

He is pretty picky what wood he burns.

 

I'm not overly picky, most of what I cut is red maple, ash, elm, birch, cherry & poplar, but if I had to pick one it would be Ash, hands down...

 

It takes alot to make my splitter grunt... I build it myself 5 years ago.



The last one is after I upgraded from a 3" hydraulic ram to a 4"

 

Have you given much thought of looking up an exorcist
