Thanks LB I feel so much better now:biggrin_25513::biggrin_25523: LOL If it wouldn't come back on Rob... I'd drop this trailer and go home...There has to be someone I can borrow, buy on time some chains, binders straps and tarps caus I was offered a step-deck for a fair rental price....I have had enough of Eclipse...

Yep, the Pc Miler is definitely short. I don't know what esclipse's cut is but that isn't real great. Was the load paying a $1 a mile or was it even lower? Anymore $1 a mile seems to be the norm for hoppers. That really isn't enough a person is just treading water and about to go under. At 64 cents going to drown.

The rate isn't bad $1.59/mi ..$28/tn.+ 24% fsc..its the DH 300mi and 20% that kills me... Eclipse gets 10% trailer and 10% broker

BTW I got a copy of PCmiler this week hehehehhehe

I was just looking at tarps. I need some real ones to pull for this place we just discovered. That's why I'm sitting at the house. The ragged walmart tarps won't stand up to the rain going down the road so I'm not risking it. Anyway, found a 3 piece set of lumber tarps new for $680 +tax with $120 shipping anywhere. If you find some extra used ones for cheaper, I could use them.

    wheathauler Thanks this.

Rob and I go round and round about (Hippo quote)"this is how you have to do it to make money" I have challenged him to keep an acurate logbook of his exact milage and hours fuel cost amd gross pay for those miles....
I could care less what his weekly gross is because it doesn't reflect the actual ttt/mi ... there may be 1-2 loads from a previous week worked into the weekly gross.. I wanna see real milage, real hours, real gross pay/

I'm putting some things into play and researching my options... Of course if I have to take this trailer back to NE I'll PO loads around to get back... Have to apply for my TWIC which would make PO loads a breeze to get....

theres and Old timer thats semi-retired that pulls a step and he may be able to help me with start-up items.. I'll have to go see him if I ever get out of this tx nightmare....
