I received a ticket in New Mexico around December time. I was able to find a local lawyer around there and get the ticket dismissed but however they stated they can go back & look up the charges whenever they see “fit”. Now anyone on here got experience with this.

Likely a NM State thing. Most States after three years your traffic infraction, like speeding, is purged out; however, if you were charged with a misdemeanor, like reckless driving or DUI, that charge will always show in a criminal record check, but will show the disposition as dismissed.

Surely your attorney can answer your question though...

It was for “15” over in semi but oddly enough when we requested the cop dash cam they immediately came back with a dismissal. Typical middle of nowhere town in NM

Sounds like case was "Dismissed Without Prejudice". In a nutshell that means that it could be reinstated in the future for various reasons.

New Mexico pulls some shady stuff, especially on the backroads.
Keep it to yourself; don't tell your company anything or you'll probably be fired.
15 over is reckless driving by trucking company insurance rules and you will be fired.

I’ve had them “Taken under Advisement “. Which meant, as long as I didn’t get convicted of another within a year or two, it stayed off my record.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Did you get a level 3 inspection with the ticket? If so, file an appeal with DataQ

I know where you're talking too.
    That stretch is a trap.
