Search, there are a couple of threads on this topic.
Generally speaking though, it's a straight axle vehicle with either leaf springs or air bags. The principles are the same as with a smaller vehicle, just applied to a larger scale. -
Depends on how LOW u want to go and or you want to be able to lift it back up
simple and easy take the blocks out of the front end lowers about 1 " maybe
you can also use air bags on the front to raise or lower to desired height makes front end a little goofy to drive if your not used to it they also have a panhard style bar for the front that helps have to check out some of the trucks at the shows vegas louisville or the latino one in cali is really awesome -
if i lower it id want to lift it back up. so definitely air bags. very familiar with those on my pickups
-
same concept bigger air bags ive seen some of them done with everything from the big and tall peterbilt low air leaf bags to the short kw 8 bags the later being most popular . if you know how to bag a pick-up then you can bag a big truck . id love to do mine keep us informed

theres a company that makes a kit well more like a shop. its called 12 gauge customs

are there any low profile tires? i cant find any anywhere
-
22.5 lo-pros gonna b the lowest id go on a tractor due to loaded weights unless you know you'll be lighter than normal then you could get the low profile street tires like for pick-ups
-
The best way is like I said in the other post about lowering. Set the static ride height with whatever setup you like using a car hauler drop axle and leaf spring etc then add airbags to raise the truck to a usable driving height. -
How much does it affect the way the truck handles?
