My Texas Intrastate is active and I have insurance.

It's been really slow getting my plate because of the plague.

The dealer said that I can't pull loads with the 45 day temporary paper plate.

    What do you guys think?

    Thank you

Stop by a coup, or stop and ask a DPS. Get it from the horses mouth.

    Rideandrepair and Edjahman Thank this.

In Florida that is usually a no-no. However, since the virus, there have been exceptions made for many different things.

    As he said,"ask''.

I did it 12 yrs ago, with a temp Ga. plate, from a Chrysler Dealer, who was selling the Truck for his brother. Ran the sale through the Dealership. I Ran loads to Ms. then home to Mi. One Guy at the Truckstop, noticed Me, with my duct taped name and #s on the Tank. And Temp Auto plate. Said he told his wife, this Guy thinks it’s the 80s, Lol. But I knew if I got caught, I’d be in trouble. These days, never know. I would call Texas IRP, ask them. Might be able to get a temporary IRP for the windshield. Maybe the Dealers right.

My Texas Intrastate is active but I'm waiting for my IRP tag and then IFTA.

I just wanted to run some Texas stuff while I'm getting setup.

My personal vehicles are currently expired since 3-31. They just reopened, insurance is current, but plates were given a pass. There’s got to be a way to run Legal, in your case.

Yeah I understand. I have insurance, I have Texas authority that's active, I have a tractor....I'm just waiting for the IRP tag but I'm not leaving Texas yet.

I just hate seeing the tractor sitting in the driveway every day and not be able to use it.

    Thanks
