No brainer. I am calling the former of the two.
    And I won't haggle either.

The market is getting hot, wonder if rates will last beyond this week

Hard to say. I'm betting that it will, but it remains to be seen. Been off to the best start for a month I've had so far this year, and last month was pretty solid.

Who knows. Your guess is a good as anyone's.

I've been on a good wave...

Halfway thru the month tomorrow I'm at:
    $10,150 revenue
    11 loads
    $3.12 loaded miles
    $2.41 all miles
    29.32% deadhead
    Home EVERY day, priceless.

Nothing to write home about, but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick ;-)

That's solid, @Scooter Jones. I think the biggest driver for what we see going forward will be whatever comes from any increased COVID shenanigans. I'm still not sure what to make of it. Just found out that one of my best friend's brother-in-law had a COVID related stroke earlier this week. And yet, there's still tons of people who have been unaffected beyond what can be described as a mild cold.

Certainly interesting times we live in.

Oh I’m fine. Sometimes I just get pissed off and kinda am over “everything”. Since a good portion of my stress in life is my business then I get over it sometimes too.

Things are going just fine except my yard is starting to look more like a truck sales lot vs a trucking company. I’m offering $1500 a week guarantee, home weekends, new equipment, etc. After you spend $1500 on driver ads also, with less then a handful of half ### calls, you tend to get rather frustrated.

Hopefully after July 25 when the $600 federal unemployment goes away then conditions will improve for hiring. I feel like I could offer $2000 a week and still get no calls. It’s not about money anymore, it’s about there is no incentive to work.

1500 guarantee/weekends home/new equipment and still no calls?!
Dude...I wish you were looking for someone like 10 years ago - when I was looking for a job.
    People got spoiled.

Wow, that would be frustrating. Hopefully you'll have a turn around soon.
