    @Irishfan
    1)
If you are not able to get a truck driving job, perhaps you could apply to work on the loading docks, build up a good solid work history for the next 3 to 10 years, eventually working your way into a truck driving job.
    2) VOLUNTEER to work as many extra hours & shifts that are offered to you, doing your absolute best every hour, every minute you are on the job. If all you can get are the crap jobs, take them & do them well. A paycheck is still a paycheck.
    3) SAVE as much money as you can, living minimally & sparsely as possible. Stay as debt free as possible. STAY AWAY from the bars, taverns, pool halls, strip joints, massage parlors, gambling joints, street corners, and other places that breeds nothing but trouble.
    4) In the mean time, keep your current CDL as current as possible, including keeping up with your medical for your CDL.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

I'm not stalking you and I'm not trolling you either. I merely pointed out that a person with a record like yours, a registered sex offender, might have trouble finding a decent job.
The people doing the hiring won't use that for the reason they won't hire you but it doesn't matter anyway.
In all of your posts you've failed to address what you did and seem to take no personal responsibility for your actions. That says a lot about your attitude toward what you did.

Actually, your words were much stronger than "might have trouble finding a decent job." You flat out stated that a bottom-of-the-barrel company run by a sleeze ball is the ONLY place I would have a chance of being hired.

I guess you haven't applied for a trucking job and been denied any time recently. All but one of the denials I have received have had a reason for the denial provided. The one that didn't tell, I didn't bother to ask.

Thank you for helping me make my point. You don't quite get what's going on...but you will.
I don't doubt you'll find a job. Jobs aren't hard to find. But you'll still be carrying your personal baggage wherever you go. And you should be.

Solid advice and I have given myself until October to secure a trucking job. (Just got my CDL the beginning of this month and some companies have had suspended training programs.) Come October, if I don't have a trucking job, I will apply for a job in a warehouse where I have a decent amount of experience.

You know nothing about me. Now, you have engaged in a personal attack. Leave me alone.

I know what he or she is. All the more reason that a higher standard of conduct should be expected.

You seem to feel that you've been singled out because of your record.
You asked for advice and you were given advice. If you don't like or agree with the advice you're perfectly free to ignore it.
I stand by what I said.
The fact that you're indignant about the way you're being treated here tells us that you still haven't faced up to the deeds that require you to register with law enforcement. There are employers that will take advantage of that.
This isn't kindergarten. You don't get to holler "foul" when something you've done comes back to bite you.
The only person hurting you is yourself.

Whatever, dude. I don't have to answer to you regarding anything. I look at an employer as an authority over me. You are nothing but a moderator for an online forum. Nothing to me. Period. That is why I don't defer to you at all. I clap back at you while you think I am supposed to be some sort of groveling, pleading subject to you. Well, you have the wrong dude here. I did my time and now I am free the same as anyone else. I know that bothers you. Oh well, deal with it. I did not ask for open-ended advice. I asked specifically about ideas on job leads. Go moderate something.
