I'm only joking and having fun. But I dont have the time or skill to type what I think is wrong with women today. My grandmother's would have slapped the taste out 90% of their mouths. I like strong women. Today's women ain't for me.


But I do enjoy window shopping.

 

All options are being taken under advisement. I don’t really have a need for one and like others have stated it actually hurts more with open market freight than it helps I think?

Now, a step deck would help me get to the point of being able to someday get to @Rontonio status.

 

@Tug Toy tell me about all the issues you've had with your truck other than engine transmission. Like chassis wise, any electrical issues, basically anything I should look for on a truck similar to yours.

Nope, been a great truck really. I mean I’ve replaced everything from the steering shaft to the drive lines but I think it’s been a good truck.


The chassis is shot from rust and will have to be addressed soon.
Trick is to find something with a clean cab and frame rails and prepare to replace everything else along the way.


The dash structure behind the Brake knobs Will be trash for sure and, the whole cab air suspension will be rusted to oblivion most likely?

Lol, thanks for the vote of confidence....now all I need is about 3/4 million bucks in credit? And then a good plan to pay for it? That’s the part that scares me.

How heavy are them blades? Most the trucks I see doing the towers around me look like they just threw another axle on and loaded up. Guy I used to work with, that’s exactly what he did and hauls towers when his truck ain’t broke down.

If I was part of a convoy like you guys are doing be a good way to learn quick.

That's good info, and basically what I'm looking for as far as little quarts to look out for on those trucks. The one I'm interested in I can buy cheap but it needs work before it can be Road ready. I think I'm going to throw a number at the guy who has it at his shop tomorrow and see what kind of deal we can work out.

I'm trying to see if I can put myself in a truck with very little money out of my pocket just start and use someone else's money to put money in my pocket.

 

There is a truck near me I seen again today. 2001 Volvo with a c15 cat and 18 spd. Think he wants $16k for it? It’s just sitting there in the corner looking sad.
Guys body is shot. He thought getting out of his w9 would save him but he literally can’t even get in either truck now. So they both just sitting there with for sale signs in them.
