Is CDL from one state honored by all states?

Some states will want you to re-test if you move there. I do not know about the Road test question, that is something you will need to ask the state DMV where you are moving too.
In the case of the Regular Drivers License, you still have it. That doesn't go away. Think of a CDL as a License that has been "made large" by having a commercial upgrade added to it.hopeful eyes Thanks this. -

Your cdl will transfer from state to state with no issue. As you should know, a cdl is but an endorsement on a regular class C license. Only a HazMat endorsement is non-transferrable meaning that you would be required to test again for a Utah HazMat endorsement.
I had no trouble transferring licenses from Arizona to Utah, and back to Arizona nine years ago, so I wouldn't anticipate any trouble.hopeful eyes Thanks this. -
