jarhead ,just for the record,,,(,this ones for you luis) at ag12 i was rideing with my old man,he was a truck driver for 30 yrs he started out showing me the basics ,plus watching every move he made haveing the deep disire to drive and be like my old man,,it was a father son thing,buy age 13 i was a yard jocky on the weekends for the company he worked for,and i was rakeing in the cash for working 4 hrs on sat and sunday lol(60bucks) a weekend lol and the coment had been made that i could put a trailer anywhere i wanted with no help,and the old man use to take bets on me,95% time he won, at age 15 when i would go with him liveing in arizona his dedacated run was from mesa ,az to gallup nm, 3 times a week corn syrop cocola and pepsi cola plants,he wood teach me in the mountains to get exspirence,lol his way of teaching was he would climb in the sleeper and said if i gave him whooplash while drive hed smack my head lol(got smack a couple of times for being a smart a--,at 17 half the military,track and wheel mech(glorified parts changer)age 22 out and driveing for the old man,got board went in to heavyequipment ,as of now there arent to many things i cant operate or work on and im also rated up to a 100 ton crane,and look where im at now,back to driveing a #### truck lol but being scared makes you more saty concis and more aware of whats going on around you,,,,my piont being your are right kids ideas change every yr for carrers but if you have the heart ,the want and the disire and its what you enjoy and love ,one will stick with it or as the sticker on my hard hat says AINT SCARED!!! lol gots to try it once to say you have done it
