My family offered a livestock evacuation service for the cattle raiser associations in Tx. That is one of the services my Great Grandfather started in 1938 when he founded one of the first Bull Services in this area and southeast Missouri. We would go in hurricanes along the coastal bend to load and move any livestock to higher ground. So yes some drivers go do what has to be done.
