That’s how I did it. The crew here knows better and more presentable ways I’m sure, but that’ll work.

Right, and then do your Oliver impression once you get the dummy who’s never seen the inside of a truck before on the phone.

That's a unique unit of measurement. Now I gotta park next to one of those and compare for myself. :D

Ok, then there’s two ways you’ll get weighed at an inspection, inside bridge and outside bridge.

Inside bridge is the measurement from your front drive to the rear trailer. That determines how much you’re allowed on the total of both tandems. For example, let’s say 65K. You can still have 34K on one, but then you’re limited to 31K on the other.

Outside bridge is the measurement from your rear trailer to your steer, and this will determine your allowable gross. Registered gross will have no bearing here.

Now, if you already know all this feel free to tell me to shut the hell up. These are just lessons I learned the hard way pulling a dump trailer. :)

Hope Harrisburg hurries up with registration the 2 week extension is up for us. They're slow as molasses on a good day let alone this covid nonsense.

Seems to me with the circumstances atm shouldn't be an issue. Hopefully they don't bust out the KY. Jelly
