    Ground for what....If its for the radio and its a obra untouched then factory should be fine..
    If its a bigger radio i would run a fusable link with min 10ga direct to battery..

    If your talkin anout ant then no..

    Did you take that gnd strap off where bracket is mounted?
    Did you clean the bolts and threads of door cause thats where you will attach to on both sides of hinges
