Ok, I knew that you can get anything with enough money, but the thought seriously never crossed my mind!

    Thats what I've always thought.

My buddy has one with windows and I can stand up in it just fine. I'm curious if the one without is similar to the sleeper on the 579s ive driven. I couldn't stand completely straight in them either.

Yea i was thinking 1500usd for that. I know the NE is a whole diff ball game in terms of rates tho. The 93 looks way better hooked to a flat but the rates got knocked to crap.

A lot of what we do is one way freight. Book it with the presumption that will be coming back empty so we try to avg 2.00 for the whole round. Find something coming back that just icing on top. 2.00 on all miles is a good profit for us. Low overhead. No truck payments and 318 a month for each wagon. Insurance on 2 trucks is under 10k a yr.

I'm pretty sure you could stand up in them? I only ever had flat top T-600's, and when I got into a mid roof FLD I thought I won the lottery being able to stand up. Had to have my chin on my chest, but I could stand.

I honestly don't know what our rate per mi avg is. Dont keep track. Anything over 3800 a week is A ok in my book. + half the miles are empty. It's rare if the ghost dips under 7mpg.

    Even 3500 when turning 1500 miles a week isn't bad w/o a 3-4k a month truck note.

Just a thought. You could do a raised gable roof section where the door is going to be w/ scissor joists. It'd only need to be a bit wider than your door. Then you're only dealing with a small added expense.

That is what they call an aerocab flattop. Mine is the tallest aero cab sleeper they offer. A actual kw flattop is the modual sleeper that is connected to cab with only a rubber boot.
