Ah I see. Just was curious if it was normal or if we have a lot of unprepared folks showing up. Not a huge deal just a PITA taking the shop pallet jack out and forklifting it in/out of trailers.

I'm just gonna throw this out cause you said your young and I don't know how you was raised...

Communication skills is the secret to success. It's a hard skill to develop and your always learning. The ability to read people and relate to them will get you farther than anything you do. A simple thanks or thank you or hey I appreciate it will go a long way in the way people interact with you...and always say it like you mean it from the heart.

Control the things you can and if it's already screwed up don't complain just fix it... it's done now how do we fix it and move on.

I was only in HS. Boss sent me to get a ryder truck. They didnt like my answer to questions.

Oh most definitely, hell I was so taken back by the conversation the last thing I said was “thank you” right when I was about to get all choked up, been stressed out lately haha I never don’t say “thank you” when somebody helps me out

P.S. I had my grandpa as a role model growing up and even though I never really had anyone teach me how to behave, besides a few obvious things such as “yes ma’am, sir, etc” I merely modeled myself after him; was always fun to hear him talk about his childhood in the 40’s, farming, etc
