I try to travel at night as much as possible and "van life" it in the truck. But yeah, not a lot of people with patience to stay close to home out there, or the $600/week dried up and it's back to work. Not ragging on Texans, but I'm kind of wondering what couch they're digging from to get all the funds to go on the stereotypical summer family road trip? I know down here in NM we closed off all our state parks to non residents. I'm guessing that leaves state parks in other nearby states.

And then of course there's all the construction workers for the still ongoing Denver metro construction. Lots of out of state, non tourist traffic there.

If the cars wanted to get there faster they should of left sooner lol. If i have a line behind me and there's an actual pull off by all means ill pull over and water the tires or something but i sure as #### ain't pulling on the shoulder. PA's 6 inches of shoulder will keep the wreckers in business.

Pulling sand boxes we didn't make any friends. The other nitwit company drivers wanted to do 15+ over on the 2 lanes. Enough that it drew attention from local cops. Real smart. Don't #### where you eat

I’m beginning to think that all the traffic in my area is people just driving in circles just to get out of the house. We have the two loops around San Antonio that you can run laps around all day that have plenty of gas stations to refuel. There is nowhere to go around here still.

More of a Gen-Z word that I started using after I too saw the meaning of it in various IG pics. I just like it because of how funny it sounds!!

    No, it isn't so common.
Most rock chips I have gotten was from people running outside the fog line. Why should I flip rocks at people behind me or at people going the other direction. How much time does it take to replace a windshield? Is it really worth it? What about ruining a tire from road debris?

If you are going that slow then it should be that much easier for people to pass, like most every state in this country. They just need to get into it and get it done. If they can't, then they don't need to pass.

What's the friendly speed for passing on dirt roads to avoid rock chips? 20-25mph? Sure, that may be a good time to move over.

If y'all dont drive in Tx a lot, the courteous thing to do is pull to the right and let faster traffic by. Not on the freeway, but on 2 lanes.

If you're in a small town, usually ones that main st is 1 lane each way, dont get pissed if you're turning and people go around you to your right. Its to keep traffic moving.

And if ya can, tell your 4 wheel driving family members to take a breath, relax and slow the F down a bit. The highways aren't racetracks. They'll get where they're going, just like 23 seconds or so later. Thx.

If nothing goes right, try going left.
    It's that simple....
