Usa truck shows drivers how its done

As a member of that cheap labor pool you referrred to I agree with everything you said and i've only been solo for 2 weeks! When I was with my trainer they ran us to death! (I SLEPT FOR 2 DAYS STRAIGHT WHEN i FINALLY GOT HOME I WAS SO EXHAUSTED!) Right now I am sitting in Vandalia after dropping a good load cause the del date was changed. It's the weekend and i've got 1400 miles for the week. There is no way i'll get out of here before pay cut off monday. This place is packed with drivers sitting over the weekend just like me. I'd quit and go somewhere else except for that 6 grand they hold over our heads. They sure saw me coming on that one!

 

well, I hope things change for both of you. They had ads here in Arizona a few weeks ago for drivers. sound like your company has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.

Did you guys know that ARKANSAS BEST FREIGHT AKA A.B.F owns U.S.A Truck? Now you know where the freight is going. Can you say teamsters? Wonder why the union 'f.a.g' bosses never went after USA Truck to sign up drivers? I got a guess. I am sure that know one on here cares to know it. TEAMSTERS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

U.S.A. Truck is screwing you over? when i was with that company i never had a week under 2500 miles SOLO!!

 

A.B.F. Does Not own USA truck. USA Truck is a publicly traded co. and has been for 25yrs. A.B.F. was the parent co. for USA.

That may be true but in the post right below yours tragic is talking about how they got there butts run off. I'm not disputing everything you say, it's just that you make it out like this just happened yesterday.

 

Any company that is hiring inexperienced drivers out of a truck driving school
during this economic recession the country is in now does because they can
save money by paying lower wages.Companies like USA make lots of money
off student drivers thats why they hire them so they can take advantage of
their ignorance.

 

Hmmm I left USA 2 months ago, thought I could do better on my own. Well,,, umm, not so much. I've had two job offers evaporate in the meantime and yet,,,

Despite threatening to ditch their LOADED trailer in Times Square (imagine the parking tickets for that?) They still said they'd take me back. (My wife was in the hospital and I was a little hot under the collar)

Don't know exactly WHAT is going on with USA right now, but they keep saying they can put together a Ded/Regional North-East package for me if I come back. (I'm FROM NYC and I know where to stuff a truck for the night AND get a home-cooked meal.)

The pay is admittedly crap,,, but right now, (in New York FRIKIN' City) the best I've been able to find is $8-11/hr warehouse work (these are the ads in the paper, never mind I haven't heard a responses to my apps yet) And I remember why I moved to PA.
