That’s been my goal, after years of winter. Last couple years, only hit snow a few times. This time of year, it’s almost too hot down south for me anymore. Summer in Michigan is pretty good. Come November till April, I’d rather stay south of 40, mostly on the Gulf coast.

So update: after hunkering down for nearly 2 hours I got back out on 80 headed west. Lots of tree damage. From the Quad City area to Des Moine I saw 5 trucks layed over taking naps... Add the 2 that decided to take naps atvthe 39/80 Jct. For a total of 7 trucks that I know of that layed over in this storm.

5 miles befor reaching my destination for the night I suddenly lost 50% of my boost while climbing a small hill. Truck became utterly gutless. Limped into Wings of America amd started playing mechanic... A clamp that hold 2 metal intercooler pipes together had apparently worked loose enough to allow pressure past the gasket. Of course the tool required was Allen wrenches... Of which I had none. So I went in to buy a set... No metric Allen wrenches to be found, so I got an SAE set. The SAE ones worked, but definitely buying a bigger better set of both SAE and Metric.

So my truck is now back in perfect running order after a very minor surgery. Now time to relax for a while then some rack time.

Stumbled down the YouTube rabbit hole again. This video is pretty cool, this guy is basically able to play a 2 part saxaphone piece with 1 saxaphone by utilizing the echo from the pipe. Sounds really cool.
