hello. Looking for some recommendations for any good hazmat reefer company for owner operators. Have plenty of experience with both. Just looking to change companies. Thank you

I’ve seen these guys running around with placards on their reefers. Don’t recall the class of placard or really much about them. I know their trailers advertise terminals in IN, MO and AZ tho. Hope this helps or at least offers a jumping off point.

I think this outfit is 100% company drivers. I could possibly be wrong though.

I may be out of the loop, but what's a "Hazmat reefer" company? I hauled a lot of reefer freight, food mostly, I'm not sure what you'd haul in a food trailer that was hazardous, if it's even allowed.

Pharmaceuticals and munitions are two I can think of right off. Of course, I only know this because I've researched this myself. These items typically require a team to run.

We've looked into this before and just not found much info. I think those type loads aren't that common and those who know about them aren't talking.

IDK, I did a lot of LTL reefer in Wisconsin years ago( talk about a PITA) and I don't recall ever hauling anything hazardous, fact is, I don't remember even having a hazmat classification. It just wasn't needed. I can hear it now,,( dispatcher) "yeah, after picking up those 2 pallets of spent nuclear fuel rods, then head over and grab the rest of that yogurt load',,,it just never happened.

It's a company that hauls reefer and has a hazmat license also. A reefer is requested on some hazmat loads to either keep the temp down or from freezing. For example in the winter they need a reefer to haul ink so it doesn.t freeze.

Munitions you can carry with a dry van also. I hauled explosives and ammunition with a dry van.
