You have to be sure to wear it anytime you are out of the truck - and preferably jibber jabbering to someone while out of said truck.

 

Bossman keeps putting one on my truck. I throw em in the trash.

I have no need for em. Speaker works just fine for me. If I need it. The stereo does a good job also.

 

How come they didn't have it in red !?
Its a good one , i use mine already 3 years ( when working ) ... Just the paint from leather started shedding

 

I went through 2 of that same exact model.

One minute working the next minute died.

I called customer service both times and read them the serial number and they said no problem ones in the mail to you and throw the old one out.

Must have a bad batch.

I’ve had the third one for over a year but don’t use it since not trucking.

Hopefully it still works.

 

I use the baby xt250 version . I need to call customers often and it’s a easy thing to do on a good headset besides it’s 10x clearer than holding a phone to your ear.. If you need to call someone it’s the smart trucker thing to do if you can’t stop which is best.

I'm a bit of a loner. No one to really talk to and dispatch doesn't really bug me all that often. I do have one of these I found left behind in a tractor a couple years ago. Sits in the junk drawer awaiting its final fate on the quad-annual, "decluttering day" at the house. (If it looks like I don't use it, or it's no longer relevant, into the dumpster it goes!!)
