An at home sleep study is less expensive than an in hospital study.
Also you can call the insurance company and try to appeal because it was doctor ordered.
Is it possible to get another DOT doctor?

    sevenmph and Lonesome Thank this.

It might be time to move on to another company that doesn't use concentra. Others have warned about that. Or, just cough up the money and get it done.

Most places it takes a few months to get an appointment for an in hospital sleep study, then you will need a compliance letter saying you use it at least four hours a night.
The at home study can cost from six hundred to a thousand.
The company I work for helps employees with medical costs and takes something out each week. Maybe you should start looking for the next job now.

Seem like the insurance would pay since a doctor ordered a sleep test. Look for the home test if you have to pay. Someone else on here said he went to hospital and it was like $8,000 because no insurance. Their are usually two part to sleep test. One to see if someone has it. Second test is to get the pressure setting. If you get a home test I believe they just so one test to see if someone has sleep apnea. Then they recommend a automatic pressure CPAP machine. Those adjust the pressure on each breath as someone sleeps. Those CPAP machine are like $800. Someone on here had a website that had cheap new CPAPs and it think home test.

I would find a different company and, as said, stay away from Concentra. Anywhere.
Since your physical is now a matter of record, you can still go see your pcp or any other examiner and get a new physical done. But you MUST give the same information that you gave to the place that gave you the 3 month card, or it will be considered "Doctor shopping" and your new card could be disallowed. I think your pcp would be your best bet. Good luck to you.
