Sounds like they wanted to thin the herd.
Especially if they have trucks sitting, no reason to have a driver in a truck that has problems

Most of the Legend drivers I encounter here on the I-5 PNW are very aggressive and spend a lot of time in the left lane. Always seem to be in a big hurry.

I was driving by the Tec equipment dealership in Dixon and saw a lot full of Legend trailers and red Volvo’s that look exactly like the ones legend uses.
I wonder if it’s trailers and they ordered before losing the home goods account and now they don’t need the equipment anymore.
I’m in the market for another truck and was thinking maybe I can take a truck and trailer off them for a discount

I never really ran with other drivers, I ran TJ Maxx/Goodman back, Personally I would run about 60 61 Max in CA, The time you save is not worth the money it cost to run more than 5 over in CA especially, In AZ, NM, TX the Legend truck wont break the speed limit.
My goal was 600 to 650 per 11 hours, So I tend to drive non stop for 8 hours, stop for 30 min then run out the miles, and be parked bu 14:00.
Legend gives you plenty of time to deliver, I could have ran legal/legal everywhere and had plenty of time to deliver. On TJ Maxx I was always early, but it was drop n hook, In n Out.....and Head for Goodman in Houston, TX another drop n hook and get back to San Antonio for my 10 hour. Never needed to run super hard, nor did they ever push me to.

Wow. Thanks. I nearly accepted employment from these crooks. The DOT should really hear more about the crap they pull.

lol ,they don't run loose leaf logs anymore . Every truck has Omnitracs IVG Eld's , with personal conveyance and yard moves enabled

Nobody bothered me on home time . Actually I had to call my dispatcher (Jesse) to say I was ready to roll

You had lots of time for appts ( too much honestly )

They have mostly newer trucks all with pre pass/ 99% of the time you get the bypass

I left due to covid19 / lack of steady work not because of any of the reasons mentioned by that other person .

Also , I was making 52 due to being a veteran I got 2 cpm more

I think that post you referenced was from the past

I did not find most of this at all, I have heard other drivers complain, but I set my own rules on how I run, I run legal period no discussion, never had them debate that at all. When I got how I would call my driver manager and tell him when I was leaving to go load. If I could not make a delivery I would just call and tell then can't make till "what ever time" and never heard anything about it.
I agreed to drive for 51 cpm, so I really don't care what another driver makes none of my business. My checks were on time, I was reimbursed for expenses like headlamp, wiper blade, etc... No questions asked.
My problem with them was equipment repair, the tractor I had was a 2018 Cascadia I think, fairly new but it had electrical problems like losing the low beams, both of them only the light were good, had voltage out of the beam selector switch but not at the headlamps, sometimes, of course they would work in Rancho Cucamonga, but not in AZ NM or TX. Anyway I got back from a round wrote it up, dropped it off at the Rancho shop, called my DM told him I was taking my bike and going home, call me when they had something for me to drive. 2 days later I called in and was told that I had quit and dropped mu tractor off, 2 hours later one of the Lancaster Drivers dropped off my radios, antennas, TV, and clothes. And I called in and asked whats up? then called my bank and every penny they owed me they paid me. So misunderstanding Don't know, just called Centerline Drivers and went out for them to retrieve a PRIME tractor trailer from Key West. Never missed a day of work.
So I really don't have a complaint about Legend, they paid what they promised every penny.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Your incorrect, but even if it were true why would care. Truth is timeless.
