    Yea, automakers tried to use these stupid things years ago. They didnt work then and hey guess what? .....they dont work now. Just another way to attempt to speed up the assembly line process. Quality be darned.

    We all went to a local drag track to do some quarter mile racing some years ago.

    A buddy of mine’s brother had a supercharged Grand Prix 3.8 v6.

    After making several passes, the cooling hose elbow broke off from the heat of the engine. Looks like a piece of plastic or something.

    While we all continued to do racing, he was spending his time on the bench calling a tow truck.

    Engineers really need to stop drinking the Cool Aid and really think about what the truck driver has to go through while on the road away from home.

    Garbage parts have no business being in a truck.
