What if it Snows?

The communist state is never without stupidity. Havent been there since i got rear ended on i15 couple months back. Decided to take the 215 bypass around riverside/ontario and got just south of there and next thing i see is headlights spinning around in the lanes about 100 ft in front of me. Got on the brakes , hit the shoulder and the 4 ways. Meanwhile the left lane had become a demolition derby with 3 cars involved.... Got thru that crap without any problem. Got by them on the shoulder and started grabbin gears . Was about 0530 i bet that sucked for anybody that got behind that mess... yep they just need to burn the stupid out of that place..

 

Maybe a few well placed explosives along the fault line to make it an island?

 

Actually parked at an old dead shopping center across the street from and within sight of where I was delivering.

There was a Dickies BBQ across the street.

Was not a bad hang out if you didn't mind watching the locals hauling their loads of stuff back from the K-mart sized thrift store that was there. Just broke and broken people doing their thing. Kinda depressing to see it live out the windshield again.

Easy walk up to Highway 20 with other food and restaurants/Coffee in the morning.

Normal for a city, But unexpected for a bigger town. Figured the locals with have it more under control. But then again it is "big corporate welfare" ag area so part of the "cheap labor" ills from that.

 

Well, done for the day at the Pembroke NY J.

I pulled in next to a tanker from another company, and his Tripac is louder than most reefers.

I am unconcerned. I predict rhinoceros sleep in the offing.

I stopped at the only open Sbarro on the Thruway, at Chittenango on the wb side, for lunch.

While I was inside, an extended crew cab pickup towing a 26ft travel trailer had parked next to me.

While I was eating lunch in my truck, I saw the family coming back.

Mom, 3 girls, probably in a spread 11-16 years old, a 12 or 13 year old boy, and bringing up the rear.......

Dad.

Poor guy looked ERODED by estrogen.

Probably also because his son is old enough to ask questions like, "Dad, why do Mom and the girls always have to (fill in the blank), or act like (fill in the blank), or say (blank) when they really mean (blank)?"

SIGH...."Because that's what women do, son."

I also saw flags at half staff in NY.
Guess I'll have to look it up.

If it were Bill or Hill, I'd'a heard it on the CB.

Also FYI, NY state is "No mask, NO SERVICE", Statewide, per NYSDOH.

Not sure about enforcement. I've been wearing mine as a "go along to get along", but I still think it's ########.

Parked for the day is Las Cruces, 100 air temp , 110 on the pavement. Had to carry Dasha 30 yards to the shade, while I saw a driver too lazy to walk inside to piss.
