Scooter I’m happy for you but this is the time to be working all the hours you can. You could have done easily another 5k pure profit this month without too much trouble.
PPLC, Brettj3876, Scooter Jones and 1 other person Thank this. -
We work local and our rate is between 110 and 130 per hr depending on trailer but we get paid for loading and unloading and in the dump trucks it is challenging to get more than an 8 hour day average the Lowbed has no problem booking more than 8 hours a day.
Have you figured how many hours a day you spend waiting on average and how would that effect your hourly rate.
I pay my drivers hourly plus OT over 8 and DT over 12 so hourly rate for our entire day is how I look at how we are doing.Dino soar, Scooter Jones, blacklabel and 2 others Thank this. -
PPLC Thanks this.

D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Besides, having my grandkids over visiting with their old grandpa is something I'd sorely miss being stuck in some god forsaken truckstop in somewhere like Stockton, CA having to do a 34 hour restart, been there, done that.
kemosabi49, Truckermania, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this. -
