A/C coil freezing up is a possibility , evaporator coil is the coil i am referring to coil freezing over stopping air flow over coil

On a Cascadia, I'm told this is a Freightliner part not Cummins, it looks like this.

It's the round gray thingy. All those switches are normally closed.

So if you can find yours where it's unplugged, the lead going to the ecm has been jumpered.

Was $60. They had an aftermarket one for $32.

That's the second time I've replaced that switch.

Dave, what’s that you got unplugged? Must be compressor from when you changed the switch. I agree, either fan isn’t kicking on, easy enough to figure out, by listening or looking at it, if both bunk and cab a/c quits working, its probably what it is,probably a bad fan switch like the one in Dave’s picture. It’s easy to change, won’t lose any Freon. Or, if either one of the bunk or cab quits, and the others working, it probably the evaporator freezing up, turn a/c off, thaws out, turn on works till it freezes over again. The reason it freezes over, usually is from a bad expansion valve. Cab and bunk each have they’re own. Other causes of frozen evaporators are overcharged with Freon, or moisture in the system, freezing up, and causing the expansion valve to stick. Best way to tell if it’s freezing over, without ripping the panels off, is check for water drainage outside. No water draining, evaporators frozen over.

What is with this trend of parking in fire zones for your 10 while 3/4 of the real parking places are still open?
