If they'd have some restrooms, even porta-o-jon's at shippers and receivers, we wouldn't have to do that.

What a chaotic day... I had to go to Idahofalls to Home Depot for some 16" × 8" × 4" concrete blocks to make pads for the skids of my shed to sit on when I have it moved to the new house. I also was looking to get some pedastals for the wife's washer and dryer while they are on sale. They had the blocks... But I have to order the pedastals, the website didnt say anythimg about having to order the #### things.

So then we went to an appliance repair store to see if they had a drain plug for our chest freezer... Because I broke the original one getting the thing out of the house. They didnt have one. So we went to Blackers to see if they had one... No luck. The champagne cork I have in it now will have to do until the one the wife found online arrives.

While at Blackers we decided to look at beds, because we are wanting to upgrade from a traditional queen to an adjustable king. Found what we want at a price that is WAY less than I was expecting, but yet again it has to be ordered, and paid for in full at time of ordering. So it will have to wait a few weeks because I want to get moved and let the finances settle some before we go blow $1700 from savings.

    (to be continued)

Sold the Pontiac for $2000. 7 hrs on Craigslist. Cost $5.00 to post Vehicles now. Mechanic familiar with all the issues, said he might fix it up for his daughter, my guess is he’ll flip it. Either way, Everyone’s happy. Now I can relax, and get caught up on pages. Lol.

So after the trip to Idahofalls I decided to get my '72 F-250 running...

Step 1) How many tires will hold air?... Only 1 of 4. Its been sitting for several years and 3 of 4 valve stems had rotted and were leaking slow.

Step 2) Will it start?... Of course not! Battery was so dead it wouldnt take a charge. AND a rubber fuel line had rotted and cracked under the cab, which apparently drained all the fuel out.

Step 3) Repair problems from step 2. Trimmed cracked portion of fuel line away and reattached... No more fuel leak. Went to town for 5 gallons of gas and a can of carb cleaner. Doused the carb with cleaner and added fuel. Robbed battery from my '89 F-250. After some pumping of throttle and some cranking it coughed to life... Kinda. Runs rough as all get out but wont idle. I'm sure carb is varnished badly and needs a rebuild.

Step 4) Get tires fixed. Tires held air for about 45 mins before completely flat, so I aired them up and started for town with the wife following with jumper cables in case it decided to flood and die on me... Which of course it did... TWICE right in the middle of the road at intersections. Luckily I was able to get it started again after a few mins both times. I couldnt get it to go above 40 mph cause the carb is so full of gunk, pretty sure I have a stuck float. Made it to tire shop and had all 4 valve stems replaced with METAL ones, also had tires dunked to check for other leaks... None found.

While waiting for my turn at the tire shop thebwife ran me to a gas station for another 5 gallons of fuel and a can of Sea Foam to add to fuel to help clean the carb.

After tires were done I went straight to a gas station that sells ethanol free premium and topped off the tank AND the 5 gallon can. Then headed home, managed to make it home without it flooding out on me. I was also able to get it up to 55 mph. It still runs rough but it is much improved.

Tomorrow it goes to the new house. It is loaded with the concrete blocks I purchased today, my welder, and my chainsaw. It will also have a shovel and rake for use in setting the blocks for the shed.

Oh yes, I was expecting to have the shed moved Friday... But the guy that is doing it cant get me in this week unless it is Thursday morning. So after signing for the house tomorrow I have to get the blocks set so the site is ready for the next morning when the shed will arrive.

What a day... I'm exhausted. Time for a beer.
