Off duty and PC out of there. You’re not advancing the load, you’re leaving and going somewhere to park because the gate was locked. And if it were me personally I would PC back in the morning. They’re not going to question that during a roadside because you left and returned to the same location.

Sitting at the Aurora CO Flying J this morning getting ready to deliver, and I watched a Western Express truck leave the fuel island missing a mud flap on the drives, and with a shredded trailer tire. He exited the truck stop and headed for the highway. These are the drivers you hope get pulled into a scale house. They're a menace on the highways.

Location.

I've used PC a handful of times, and try my best not to ever use it. No PC means there's no interpretation by Officer Erection if it was legal or not.

I'll be using PC tomorrow for the last 4 hours of my drive home when my 70 clock runs out.
D.Tibbitt, Dave_in_AZ and TallJoe Thank this. -
So we don't even need to try and get better at trip planning, since we can just switch to PC. It's like the trucker version of 12th place trophies.
D.Tibbitt, blacklabel and 86scotty Thank this. -
To me it sounds like @SteveScott planned his trip perfectly. Maximize your revenue, run out your 70, PC home.
If you rarely use PC then it will stick out like a sore thumb. But if you use it all the time for ag and exempt loads they barely bat an eye at it. I haven’t had them look to see what I was doing or even question PC for a couple days.SteveScott and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Our office has received claims of non-payment and is currently working on a case against the broker MC Nationwide Transportation LLC (MC# 857159). Their authority is inactive, and they have multiple reports of non-payment, fraudulent activity, and unethical or deceptive business practices.
Just got this email, so heads up.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Now since DAT has removed the ratings and reviews from the load page, it is probably a lot easier for carriers to get swindled due to this. It makes me wonder why they made this change, and if it was a result of brokers complaining that their bad reputations shouldn't be front and center on the app. It's also troubling that DAT allowed them to stay active on the boards for so long. -
