a fictional city.??

Akon's idea for a city is actually very good. His Akoin is going to be tethered to Stellar Lumens (XLM) . People in his city will be able to trade the Akoin for XLM.
One of the main reasons Stellar Lumens came about is to help the unbanked, i.e.
the low income people in Africa. It charges very low fees to send money...fast with no middleman.
A person can buy XLM on Coinbase and send it to someone in Africa and it will get there in less than 3 seconds. Blacks in America can send their relatives over there and support them with XLM. And since Africa has such a low cost of living, they will be able to live like royalty.
There is another coin besides XLM called DIVI from diviproject.org that I hope will be big over there because I think it's actually going to let people open up an e-bank account and they're setting up an online marketplace where people around the world can trade goods and pay for it using DIVI.
Lot's of good charity projects in Africa accepting XLM and DIVI too.
Blows my mind crypto hasn't caught on in trucking. I think of it every time it takes 30 minutes for a lumper to process a paper check.Last edited: Sep 6, 2020
